living underground in the real world

pauline zine

Kate and I made this zine to give out at my mom’s memorial and this is the best way I can think of to put it online. Zines shouldn’t be online but you get to break the rules when you’re an orphan. Some of the pages are unreadably small but this whole project has been too depressing to work on it any more, to be honest.

Maybe someday I’ll write about something other than my mom on this blog.

Maybe not.

    Lagusta,
I’m just reading about this today, and I’m very sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. She was a wonderful woman, and the world will miss her deeply.

This is so beautiful, Lagusta. I am an avid reader of your blog and have followed your heartbreaking journey. I am in tears. I can feel the love radiating from these pages, even if they are on a screen and not in my hands. Thank you for sharing your world with us.
